April Highlights
Well friends, we made it through another month.
I hope you are all staying safe at home and as sane as you can be while furiously refreshing your delivery carts to find an open window. Have you ordered from any cool local delivery spots to support your restaurant friends? If you need tips for places to order from in LA shoot me a message, I have loads of favorites!
As for your photo update, this month wasn’t bursting with photos but I did get to shoot some stuff with a lot of precautions and augmentations in place. We are all going to have to work together as creatives and clients to figure out a new meaning for “safe workplace” as we go along and what a contactless collaboration can look like but I am so lucky that the folks I have still been able to work with have been down to figure it out with me. What it looked like this month for me was product mailed to me to be shot at my home studio and a trial run of collaborating over video chat and slack. It looks like there will be plenty of options going forward but patience and understanding will go a long way for all of us!
One of my most exciting projects this month was with super cool branding studio Makers and Allies and is as per usual top secret so I can’t share anything until it’s released but needless to say I am THRILLED with the photos and I cannot wait to show them off. The team up there is super creative and are all really rad folks!
Beyond that I worked again with my favorite feminist cosmetic line Nasty Woman Cosmetics to help showcase their new nail polish…
Plus some other odds and ends and things I hadn’t released yet.
So that’s a wrap on April! I hope May brings us some good news and a couple big steps in the right direction for the world at large.
