~ New Year ~ New Website ~

Hi friends-

2023 was a pretty unusual year for me-

I made a tiny person, took off half the year to take care of them, was lucky enough that folks didn’t lose my number and was able to shoot some cool stuff. Since a lot of it is unreleased still I made this Where’s Waldo of a way too maximalist 2023 still life to celebrate the shoots that made it so special. I appreciate all of you and can’t wait to see what we do in 2024!

Hi friends-

As you might know it’s currently the best season of the year- Leo Season (which intersects with tomato season so I’m not lying!) and I couldn’t miss the chance to say hi. While I may have used the occasion to upgrade to some new strobes and studio tools so I am ready for anything that gets thrown at me this year, getting back to creative shoots with talented folks has been the best birthday present I could ask for!

This month the bakery genius behind Just What I Kneaded, Justine Hernandez opened her glorious Frogtown wine bar and I was lucky enough to be asked to get some photos ready for press. We spent the afternoon exploring all the beautiful accents and finishing touches before it opened to the public and I got a sneak peek at their current menu which will be rotating based on seasonal options. Hi friends-

Just hopping into your eyeballs real quick to let you know I am wrapping up my maternity leave and starting to take on projects this month.

I’m available for food and product shoots, stop motion and now wading into the cool, clean waters of video! As a refresher I have a private tabletop studio and as always the weirder the ideas, the better!

OK now onward into my banana dog loves uncrustables shoot!

Hi friends-

Just a quick update this month since if you’ve been following me on Instagram or LinkedIn (If not click one of those buttons below to join the party!) you know some stuff has been going on!

My project for February was casually having a baby. Meet Mr. Remy Danger Mashia!

Everyone is healthy and strong over here at home and doing well learning about each other. As you might guess that will mean response times to emails will be a little slower than usual and I’ll be evaluating projects on a case by case basis for a few weeks as I take my maternity leave but don’t hesitate to reach out if anything comes up. I mean, how do you stop looking at those brand new toes long enough to do anything, right?

Big thanks to everyone who has given me advice on freelancing parent life, sent nice wishes or supported us in this big step! I’ll be back in action before too long but keep your eyes on IG for new work rolling out in the meantime!
