Hi friend-

 Happy February! 💞

 I'm sure you've seen me shouting all about this shoot on socials but while we have a moment together I wanted to share a few things you might not have guessed about our EOS “Is it Cake” shoot I did last month in tandem with their Super Bowl ad. 

 Planning, prep and good communication are what get us to the finish line every time with stellar images but usually folks never get the whole story!

 Here are some challenges we faced:

 🍓 SUPER short turn around on post for PR images- less than 48 hrs!

💘 Cakes were handmade and we only had FIVE!

🍓 Cakes were teeny tiny so you couldn't actually cut them-all cut slices had to be fabricated by the baker and propped up!

💘 Cakes were encased in chocolate so they'd crack or melt if held for too long

🍓 The baker needed to food style because cakes were so specialized

💘 Shot list was ambitious but agency wasn't sure what was possible with the physical product

Here's what happened:

🩵 We crushed it! We didn't run out of cake! Everything was organized!

🎀 The baker was a genius and the team DELIVERED!

🩵 The set ran smooth and so fun

🎀 Post got sorted and everything went live on time

🩵 Client added on more stills and stop motion, the project was a hit!

🎀 PS. The cake tasted great!

One of my favorite parts of the job is figuring out all the details so they never trip us up!

Hiya friend-

 We are off and running on 2026!

 I'm late to the party with this newsletter but I'm so over 2025, reflections, goals and yada yada yada- we've heard enough of that so let's keep her moving! 2025 bye girl, bye!

What I want for us in 2026 (CLIFF NOTES):

 🖤- weird creative that flexes how epic human imagination is

🖤- strong female + queer voices on set

🖤- helping my brand partners share their stories and ideas with new audiences

🖤- making friendships + partnerships that last long after we have packed up our gear!

☁️✨Additionally the Pantone color of the year “Cloud Dancer” was boring as hell so I made us some personal clouds in my studio and gave us a bright new vision for the year ahead. You are welcome. ✨☁️

Out with mundane and good enough. Out with chaos and division.

In with joy, wonder and caring about the legacy we leave behind. 

 In with community!

Hi friend- 

In celebration of the good bits of American Thanksgiving, let me say thank you for being along on this ride with me! I'm truly grateful for you! ✨ 

As we settle into the holidays and unwind into some sexy carby snacks and a borderline illogical amount of pie, let it be known that community is the thing that keeps me coming back year after year to this wild industry.  

I am so happy to share the table with you! 

 If I can bring your vision to life, solve a production problem for you, tell a joke to distract you from family or help you not overcook your turkey hit that reply button and let's go!
